3 Count Tosses Demo (front) | Good Morning SABRE Band Families, I have just finished updating the SABRE Guard page on our website. This is very exciting news because you now have access to exercise videos and demonstrations to help improve your guard technique. I will continue to update and add helpful videos. In the meantime, make sure you use this amazing resource to help learn the choreography to our 4th of July Parade. ENJOY! Mr. Geller |

Good Afternoon SABRE Band Families,
It has been 2 months since our last post, and a lot has happened in that time. First off, all of the music is in the mail, and available for download from our website. Just click here to access all of the music online, but remember you will need our password in order to log in to the page. You can also listen to our 2014-2015 Marching Band Show (The Music of Bruno Mars) on our SABRE Marching Band Reference Recordings Page. I have a good feeling that students, parents, and our football team are going to love this season's show. Another thing that has happened in the last two months is the addition of the SABRE Guard to our Marching Band. We have a handful of really talented and dedicated students who are going to bring a lot to this great and growing program. Here are a few reminders about upcoming camps: 1) SABRE Guard Mini Camp starts tomorrow at 10am in the band room (the camp is both Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 2pm - BRING A LUNCH) 2) The SABRE Marching Band Mini Camp begins next Monday 6/30/14 and runs through July 4th. The camp times are 12:00pm to 3:00pm Monday through Thursday, and then we will be marching in the City of Elgin fourth of July Parade (times tba) 3) Make sure you are practicing often 4) SQUAD LEADERS - I will have a list of your squad members for you by the beginning of Next Week. Please make sure that you try and get together with your squad for a fun bonding activity (all get lunch, go see a movie, hang out, etc.) during Early - Mid July (i.e. before band camp) As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Hope you are having a great summer, and I can't wait to see everyone next week. Mr. Geller |
